As if he has not done it all, Kenya’s Eliud Kipchoge has been given a reserved parking spot at Nike Headquarters in Portland, Oregon.
Kipchoge, who became the first human being to run a marathon in under two hours last month, has been receiving numerous accolades both locally and abroad.
During this year’s Mashujaa Day celebration, President Uhuru Kenyatta awarded him the country’s second-highest honor, the Elder of the Order of the Golden Heart (E.G.H) award.
To cap his legendary status, Kipchoge is the face of a new Nike advert that has been doing rounds on social media and television platforms.
And now at Nike’s headquarters in Portland (Oregon), Kipchoge will have a dedicated parking spot which puts him on another plinth.
